There are a few scenes where she does shine, and the amazing chemistry she shares with Dileep is not new to us. She seems to have tried her best, which was simply not enough.
Mamta Mohandas' portrayal of a drunkard was not very convincing. I really loved the part where they showed that Ullas and Laya's initial bonding itself had happened over alcohol. What happens when he discovers that she is a alcoholic forms the rest of the story.

After a series of events, he ends up getting married to his childhood love Laya played by Mamta Mohandas. Dileep portrays the role of Ullas, a conniving man, who looks to gain a profit out of anything he does. From then on, there is never really a single dull moment. The scene speaks for itself and gives an idea as to what you can expect from the movie. By far, this is the best introduction scene for a Dileep movie, ever. The void left by Dileep while he tried his hand at commercial cinema and witnessed a slew of failures, was somewhat filled in by Suraj. He is like Dileep's comic counterpart in Malayalam cinema. Unless of course the name is Suraj Venjaramoodu. Be it his musings, facial expressions, body language or "mind-voice", you simply cannot beat him. This is the brand of comedy that Dileep owns. If not, it needed more emphasis on that hidden message.ĭileep is a droll. If that was the whole point of this movie, then it is a win-win situation.

The only thing you remember as you leave the theater is that the movie made you laugh. Two countries has a very important message too, which gets buried somewhere along with those ludicrous moments. The only problem is that, some of those are cringe worthy at the same time. There are a lot of laugh-out-loud moments.

Though the actor has played versatile roles dabbling in different genres this year, he proves once again why comedy is his forte. The movie follows the life of Ullas (Dileep), who is opportunistic and makes a profit from every move he makes in his life. Review: The opening line of the movie says people play several tricks to make a living, but there are some who live only to play tricks on others. His opportunistic outlook lands him in a marriage with a wealthy Canadian citizen Laya only to find out later that she’s isn’t whom she seemed to be. Story:Ullas, a carefree Malayali youth believes a person has to profit from every deed in his life.
